This course consists of a study of: the geography of the Middle East; theology in Acts; important people in Acts; miracles in Acts; and the Church in Acts. There will be a verse by verse study of Acts with the help of commentaries. The course will help the student to understand major events that happened at the founding of the church following the ascension of Jesus. Considerable attention will be given to the principles of evangelism and church growth that were modeled by early church leaders. These principles will be viewed in light of their application to the church today.
